Dr Mona Al Moussli

CEO, Profesisonals Regulatory Affairs

Dr. Mona Al Moussli pursued her pharmacy studies. Holder of a Bachelor degree from Dubai pharmacy college 2002 and MBA from Preston university, in 2018 she has received her International Regulatory Affairs master degree from KREMS university – Vienna. She is the first initiator of regulatory affairs course in the gulf region, working closely with Dubai pharmacy college. A Co-founder and Managing Director of PRA Consultancy which is the First Pharma Consultancy in UAE and she is an astute professional with over 15 years of hands on experience in the Regulatory Affair field for pharmaceuticals, Retail Pharmacies and Hospital Pharmacies, Dr. Al Moussli have been entrusted with international brands across the GCC and Middle East. Together with her PRA team she continuously delivers high quality standards to meet the fast paced, high turn-over industry. Regulatory conferences and trainings are among the many other activities she manages and she is working on pushing the health care products Regulations in 2021 to new levels.

Dr Ahmad El Ouweini

Pharm.D., BCPS , Gulf Medical University and Thumbay University Hospital
Ahmad El Ouweini is currently serving as a clinical lecturer in Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. He is also a clinical pharmacist and preceptor for undergraduate and Master in Clinical Pharmacy students at Thumbay University Hospital, the affiliated university hospital with Gulf Medical University. From August 2020 to August 2021, Ahmad worked as a clinical pharmacist (focusing Internal Medicine and Cardiology) in Lebanese American Medical Center - Rizk Hospital. He was also a clinical lecturer and preceptor at LAU School of Pharmacy. Furthermore, he served as a pharmacology instructor in Phoenicia University. In addition, Ahmad is An American Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Ahmad completed his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 2019, followed by PGY1 Pharmacy residency in 2020 at the Lebanese American School of Pharmacy and Lebanese American Medical Center Rizk Hospital. Prior to joining the LAU School of Pharmacy in 2014, Ahmad practiced as an inpatient hospital pharmacist at Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Between 2018-19, Ahmad served as the chairperson of the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation. He was also the recipient of the LAU’s president academic excellence award on behalf of the school of pharmacy in 2018. Ahmad is currently serving as the Chair of IVPN-AR organizing committee, Leader of IVPN-Journal Club Listserv and an Editor of IVPN-Digest.

Prof. Mohammad Ghattas

B.Pharm, Phd, MRSC, Deputy Dean – Al Ain University of Science & Technology
Prof. Mohammad Ghattas got his pharmacy degree in 2006 when he was only 20 years old and then, in 2011, he got his PhD from The University of Manchester in the field of drug design and discovery. He pursued his academic career in Al Zaytoonah University (Jordan) then in Al Ain University where he got promoted several times to finally become in charge of the college of pharmacy – Abu Dhabi Campus (in 2018). Very recently, he got the highest rank in academia after being successfully promoted from “Associate Professor” to “Full Professor”. Prof. Ghattas has successfully published more than 35 scientific papers and abstracts in widely respected journals and international conferences. Moreover, he has won two research-funding grants (=780,000 AED) along with several prizes (e.g. Distinguished Researcher Award, at AAU), and he is now member in the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK). Beside his academic career, Prof. Ghattas is famously known among his peers and students for his motivational character and his unique style of leadership. Prof. Ghattas is also characterized by his great passion for continues self-development, not only at the professional level but also at the personal and humanitarian levels.

Dr Sirine Shoukair

Clinical Pharmacist at Mercy Health & Voice Co-Host at I-VPN Network
Dr Sirine Shoukair, is a PharmD graduate from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy, Toledo, Ohio in 2013. Her residency training (PGY 1) at Promedica Toledo Hospital and Toledo Children's inpatient acute care setting. She managed anticoagulation clinic services at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where she developed an ambulatory care clinic run by pharmacists and nurses specialized in Anticoagulation. Currently practicing pharmacy at Mercy Healthy, St Vincent Medical Center Internal Medicine clinical pharmacist. Sirine is also a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students. She is an active member and leader of IVPN-Network. She is the leader for IVPN-Patient Support Listserv, she is Co-host Of IVPN-Voice, and active member of the aesthetic committee. Sirine is passionate about patient care in all pharmacy settings. She has wide experiences in retail, ambulatory care and inpatient acute care settings. Her interests are research, patient education, program development and management, and student's development.

Ms Zeineb Daghfous

Zeineb is Senior Consultant at Michael Page Middle East, responsible for the recruitment of all Commercial and Technical positions within the Healthcare and Life Science sectors across the UAE and Northern Gulf. She is a qualified Biochemical Engineer having studied in INSA Toulouse & IAE Paris in France. She has more than five years of work experience in the Healthcare sector, having started her career working for Pierre Fabre Medicament in Tunisia in the quality control laboratory. After this, she joined the Faculty of Medicine of Leipzig in Germany to study a membrane receptor using various biochemical techniques. Prior to joining Michael Page, Zeineb worked for a consulting company, Altran Technologies, where she supported several laboratories (Sanofi, Sanofi Pasteur, GSK, etc.) by providing consulting services especially in the fields of Sales, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs.

DR Ayesha Almuhairi

Pharmacist Ayesha Sultan Al Muhairi holds the position of Scientific Officer and Government Relations of Johnson & Johnson in Dubai since April 2017 Ayesha works with the Department of Government Relations Affairs as a link between Johnson & Johnson and governmental bodies in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries Gulf and Middle East. Johnson & Johnson is represented by three main sectors that is the pharmaceutical sector, the medical and surgical equipment sector and general consumer sector. Ayesha has six years of experience working in the Ministry of Health and Prevention in Dubai in the field of drug control and strategy And worked on the development of the drug control system as a drug system for import and export in 2014. She also worked on a project Ayesha Sultan Al Muhairi received her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Higher Colleges of Technology - Dubai Women’s College in 2011. In addition to being the first Emirati to hold a master's degree in pharmaceutical development from Dubai College of Pharmacy for girls in Dubai in 2016.

Dr Hayet Zouzou

Hayet Zouzou is currently Pharmacovigilance Country Cluster Lead for EEMEA region at Roche based in Dubai Hayet studied a pre Pharmacy course at Toronto University in Canada and she possess a Master of Pharmacy Degree from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom. Hayet has experience in community Pharmacy (Boots) and in different departments in Barnsley hospital and Cambridge university hospital NHS trust in the UK. Dr. Eman Moussa El-labbad

Dr. Eman El-labbad joined the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, College of Pharmacy in 2019. She teaches medicinal chemistry in the PharmD and Master of Science in Drug Discovery and Development programs. Dr. Eman is leading a student support service center “Student Happiness Center “(SHC). She coordinated and launched different student support programs including the mentorship program, “own your future” career counseling program, and “together we rise “student peer learning program last year during the COVID-19 pandemic. On the university level, Dr. Eman is part of the working group in the Center for Humanitarian Education and was recently named the Director of the Center for Interprofessional Education, Research and Practice (IPERP).
